Sam Webb : WWO Podcast - Episode 11
Don't Be Afraid To Ask.
Sam Webb is a man on a mission for Social Change. He is a co-founder and CEO of Livin' - an organisation dedicated to erasing the stigma that surrounds mental illness.
Away from his charity work, Sam has an energetic, positive outlook on life. He pursues a career in acting, speaks publicly as an advocate for mental health and was a participant in Australian Survivor 2016.
I enjoyed speaking with Sam because his story is an inspiring one; a battle to overcome his own mental demons and in the process help others overcome theirs.
We cover topics of what books he is currently reading, how he approaches his down days, and his philosophy on personal energy.
Sam's specific essay question was:
Albeit Slowly, the stigma around mental health is lifting… organisations and movements are popping up every single day pushing for social change. Where do you think society needs to focus our energy to have the biggest impact in the aim to remove all negativity associated with “suffering” from forms of mental health disease?
An entertaining Yarn, Enjoy the Show.
