Brendan McDonnell - WWO Episode 19
CREATE DIALOGUE. INSPIRE CHANGE.
** This episode contains somewhat graphic content which may cause distress to some listeners.**
Brendan McDonnell is an young man of a wise 25 years. He has the most inspiring of stories and is on a mission for change.
I came across Brenny's story recently and have quickly become a big fan of his. He is a Muay Thai and Fitness trainer based in Bondi, a Mental Health Advocate and founder of clothing label Herman's Hands.
Brenny's more focused mission is to create dialogue and inspire change. He wants to change the way Australian males view mental health. It's a long, hard road but he is adamant about making a difference.
Brenny and my story have some similarities. My essay question for Brenny was:
"How has what you experienced with your old man shaped how you present yourself to the world and why you tackle life with the fierce manner you do?"
It's a heartfelt conversation between two men who have been too close to the effects of poor mental health.
I encourage you to get around Brendan's missiom.
